I like to do low light photography, like 30seconds +. Getting the
correct focus is really tough. And I'm not even sure I can trust
the distance gauges. Seems modern lenses, with auto-focus,
vario-focus zoom effects, etc. all focus past infinity.
There once was a time I could zoom in, focus, and zoom out.
The price of progress. Not to mention the bokeh Ag pointed
out with non-symmetrical modern lenses, which I think also
hurts my ability to manual focus.
