Well, isn't that great advice from Olympus?? I *never* would have
thought that shooting Raw would be better than jpeg. :-)
Seriously....
I think I mentioned a review I read in Photoshop User magazine
on Genuine Fractal software for up-sampling for printing. They
made the comment that Adobe Camera Raw has the ability to
up-sample and gives results nearly identical in quality to Genuine
Fractal. They also mentioned it works much better than the
standard interpolation approaches in CS2 image resize. So, you
may want to test the difference in up-sampling in ACR versus CS2,
since you already have CS2.
You'll have to give us a report on the 7800. It would have been nice
if that printer allowed seemless switching to the matte black ink
though, rather than wasting $59 to purge the ink when switching.
