C*non may have hundreds of lenses to choose from but finding one that an OM
user would be happy with isn't that easy. Many of the lenses are huge. The
24-70/2.8 weighs in at 900+grams, the 70-200/2.8 weighs the same as the
Tamron 80-200/2.8 and is longer (but each will lighten your pocket by a $1k
to compensate). If you like primes there is a very highly rated 85/1.2 at a
little over $2k. There are some compelling reasons to look at 3rd party lens
makers ... or to be happy with MF Zuikos.
Olympus has a quite good offering of digital Zuiko zooms!

I am a little miffed that while folks like N*kon and C*non have hundreds of
