> The V750-M is on my "maybe" list.
There was a review posted somewhere from a French magazine. It was a
summary, not a full translation. Apparently, the French magazines haven't
discovered the art of massaging reviews to get greater advertising, but they
do have a reputation for examining things thoroughly and even-handed. The
reviewer wasn't so impressed as other reviewers. It would seem that it still
won't replace a film scanner, at least as long as there are film scanners to
replace.

Yup. I got mine from a member of the multiPro group that decided he could
make more money by farming out that part of his work. It was pristine,
included a spare holder to convert for glassless Xpan scanning, and a
scanhancer. I paid about $1450, and I don't regret it a bit.

Nope, mine look great together. I had the 5400 a while before the multipro,
and decided that it was worth more to keep it than what I could get for it
used.
It's only money.
