We're planning a 10-day SSR Smoky Mountain trip in a couple of weeks.
Photography is not going to be a major goal, since I've probably got at least
one picture of almost every bush, tree, rock and creek from north Georgia to
the Pennsylvania state line, but some may occur. I'm taking along both E-330
and E-1, all the DZs, two 1gb CF cards and two 2gb CF cards. That will most
likely be more than enough, since that's sufficient for at least 360 RAW+JPG
shots. I am aware that some of you might shoot that much in half a day, and
there's nothing wrong with that. My excuse for shooting less is that I'm more
discriminating. Some might attibute it to laziness, but that's just an opinion.
Now to the question. We'll probably haul along the laptop, since my wife likes
to "stay in touch," and -- who knows? -- I might get the urge to see what y'all
are doing in my absence and behind my back, but I'd rather not bother with
taking the card reader and the cords and all that bother.
I just received an email from Adorama about a special deal on this device, and
I'm wondering if anybody has any experience, an opinion, some advice, or just
wants to make a guess about whether it's worth what it costs, which ain't all
that much.

Assuming it works as claimed, looks pretty dadgum good to me.

be?"
