[OM] Lens groupings for a 4-element 2x teleconverter?

Hi,
  Does anyone happen to have any details on the lens groupings typically used
in a 4x teleconverter? I've got a Polysales 2x Auto Teleconverter that I've
just stripped and cleaned, and I can't get any of my lenses to focus when the
TC is attached to the camera.

  Four elements leaves 16 possibilities for orientation, it's just which of
those 16 possibilities is the correct one :)
  That said, the rear element has a small chip on it, which suggests that the
chipped side may well have been the external side, which leaves 8 possible
combinations...
