I hereby retract, refute and repudiate my assertion of yesterday that the E-330
felt like a "lightweight." That was a totally erroneous first misimpression.
Once the battery was in and a lens on, I realized that the E-330, except for
being a bit smaller, feels substantially like the E-1 in terms of substance and
solidity. I have apologized to it for my slander, and I ask that y'all try to
forget I said it.
So far, I'm impressed. Still making all the proper settings changes, even
referring to the manual when all else fails. Only two minor gripes at this
time: (1) No PC connection. I may never need one, and it's something easily
cured with a $10 doo-dad. Really nit-picky on my part. (2) Only one
wheelie-dealie to make adjustments. I've gotten used to the two on the E-1 and
find myself using the front one more. Not a big deal. I can adjust.
I'll say no more until I've had at least the better part of a week to put some
miles on it. Just didn't want to leave the false impression that it was
"cheap" or anything.
