That's a fair point, although I'm dealing with something a bit cruder
than a beemer of course. Bought my present vehicle with a three year
warranty and then discovered that it required a service every 5,000k/
6 months or else! Took the chance and let it lapse of course and
within the warranty period, blew the gearbox. Ouch. Put the reco in
it recently and found the same rule set applied by the reconditioner.
It's a scam - they hope that people will void by dodging overservicing.
