Hmmmm...I didn't find the images 'pretty soft' - in fact I thought
them sharper than most in this class and certainly on a par with the
Canon S2 and Sony H1. There was some colour fringing but nothing
unpleasant.
And, as I'm fond of saying, IS doesn't guarantee sharp results unless
you know what you're doing. It's only half the story.
