Haven't we all been caught in that conundrum? I think it was H.L. Mencken
who said, "A man may be a fool and not know it -- unless he is married." Or
something like that. I get my comeuppance and direction ever more
frequently and accept it increasingly meekly as time goes by. :-[ Except I
have learned over the years that it's a lot easier to get forgiveness than
permission, which can result in new toys sometimes. ;-)
