And I know that it's dumb to reply to your own posts but I should
have added that many mass light beers taste of nothing much because
of the 4 degree problem. People expect it to be 4deg.C and so it's
brewed for that and isn't too nice when warmer either.
I was once handed a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale at 4C - I ordered
something else to tide me over while it sat on the bar and warmed up
for a while. There's one here that I like to drink slowly (Old Black
Ale) because as it comes up to around 8C it develops some real
flavour. Too cold equals no bloody taste - it's not rocket science mate!
