Out of all the companies that used the defective SONY chip (and up to
10,000,000 units could be affected), Olympus, afaik, is the only one who
stepped up and offered to replace the ccd without the defect even
showing. The Oly service dept. may be flooded with this model and parts
may be in short supply. No, I'd say they aren't dragging their heels.
