That's an interesting report. The only other thing I've read on the
subject was from someone who reportedly had both an E-1 and a 20D and
said the 20D was very much better at low light autofocus.
Unfortunately, I know no one locally who has an E-1 and they long ago
disappeared from the local stores. I went in shortly after the E-1 was
first released and handled one briefly. The next time I went in to take
a look they were no longer to be found. They'd order one for me if I
wanted one. Same thing happened with the Minolta 7D. I got a brief
look at one and the next time I was in the store they were no more.
