There's an old saying that a camera is merely a box that you mount a
lens on - i.e. get a lesser body and a better lens. Not quite as true
as it used to be in the digital world but it's worth remembering.
I'll bet that a 50/2 on an E-300 will give better results than a
14-45mm on an E-1!
