I used to have an FBI agent neighbor who did the same thing to make
extra cash on the side. He tended to like buying low mileage luxury
cars that had engine fires. He also liked burglarizing jewelry stores
and other high value targets to make a little extra cash on the side.
Last I saw him he was on the way to jail. I never bought a car from
him. Couldn't afford them. Probably just as well.
