I found a couple of DV examples, from which I took the following clips
simply to show the effect of the E6 filter - they are not exemplars of the
digital cinematographer's art.
http://www.hemy.me.uk/Miscellany/26_12_2004%2015_31_0001.jpg is the scene
"straight"
http://www.hemy.me.uk/Miscellany/26_12_2004%2015_29_0001.jpg is the scene
two minutes earlier with the E6 filter. Not exactly the same image, but you
could pretty much put the two images side by side to get a panorama. Same
field, same hedge, same time, same lighting.
BTW, sorry for getting my Waynes confused, and putting you in Oz. RIT is
probably much closer to you than MIT (Oz) is to Wayne Harridge.

Well, what I was planning was to try infrared-type photogrpahy with the
digital cameras. I haven't really heard of your suggestion, but am wondering
how the exposed film would work, as it has to be big enough to cover the
lens. So I'm guessing it has to be Medium format or larger film, then fitted
somehow (light tight) to an empty filter? Sounds interesting. Any further
instructions, or website you can point to?
