The dpreview review of the E-500 showed a wide difference between differnt
cards for RAW continuous burst write.
512 MB xD 1346 KB/sec
4 GB SanDisk Ultra II CF 4883 KB/sec
2 GB Lexar Pro 80x CF 5689 KB/sec
1 GB SanDisk Extreme III CF 9854 KB/sec
I just bought a 1GB Ultra II myself; half the price of the Extreme III, but
I almost regret my decision, as RAW write speed on my E-500 seems pretty
slow.
The Extreme III is expensive, but evidently leaves the other cards in the
dust for RAW Write speed.
