Yes - IF. Meaning it depends on the device in which the card is mounted
and the software used to do the transfer. In my case, that means that a
faster card doesn't help if I use the USB 1.1 connection of my 300D.
When hooked up to a little USB 2.0 multi-card reader, it makes a big
difference. Download is very fast.
