The best one that I heard related to this was of a man working at a
company who had to write a report about the company's training. His
report mentioned that they favoured a "pedagogical approach" to
training. His manager saw that and terminated him since he didn't want
a pervert working for the company. I can't remember if HR caught it or
if it was only after a subsequent lawsuit that the man got his job
back. The end result was that a memo was sent out requiring that any
correspondence using words that managers might not know had to include
the definition for the word.
