You may want to keep an eye on prices as they continue to drop. I looked in
the case of a local dealer over the weekend and saw a used chrome 50/4.0 for
US$320. Not sure what the UK market is like, but my standing joke is that in
about ten years I expect to go to a rummage sale and find a box under a
table with a sign on it saying "Old camera equipment -- make offer!!" and
find in that box a complete Hasselblad system. Probably an exaggeration, but
it's sad to see all that wonderfully built gear wallowing in the
marketplace. That said, I'm really glad I liquidated my kit before the
digital revolution started in earnest.
