Can't yet say, Bill, haven't received it yet (the sale only closed ten days
ago, had to send cash to Germany) but the symptoms suggest no infinity
focus, but zoom guides A-OK. The /4 is described as jammed for zoom and
focus, with no rubber grips, hence will go for parts.

Hello Piers
What was the problem with your 3.6? The one I got recently is jammed for
focus and zoom. Both barrels check to be round, so it has to be internal
components. I was wondering if this is a common problem with this lens.
