There are no tax breaks in the UK for diesels, except perhaps for low
emissions. Anyway, I paid for my own car rather than a company
paying for it.
The Lexus hybrid (RX400) has worse fuel consumption than my ML270 CDi
had. And I sold that because I wanted to be a little more
environmentally friendly in the vehicle I drove. My little Beemer
(320d) gives me 50mpg (on proper-sized gallons of course) and it goes
like sh*t off a hot shovel ;-)
OM content: I can fit all my OMs and E-thingies in the boot and the
XAs fit nicely in the door pockets ...
