Hi Chris,
Years of experience in programming and an obscenely high I.Q. are obviously
an advantage but as I have neither I pretty much left it to my web host :-)
I put together the error page with a re-direct after 5 seconds:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5;URL=http://www.geebeephoto.com">
My web host then set something on the server to display that screen instead
of the usual '404'. The re-direct command above takes care of the rest.
