It would be a shame to see you go, George, though I certainly can
understand why. I don't own a digital camera than can use Zuikos and,
frankly, am not sure I ever will. At the same time, I've decided to not
invest more money in my OMs -- money that I think is better spent on a
"live" system -- so discussions about Olys I don't own and comparisons
of Zuikos of similar focal lengths just don't attract my interest. It's
all fine discussion for most folks here. It just isn't for me, and I end
up skipping maybe three-quarters of each day's posts.
What keeps me subscribing, though, is the quality of the photographic
work displayed through the list. GeeBee and Richard Lovison in
particular -- and Olafo through TOPE -- offer virtual diaries of
excellent work. It's always nice to see a beautiful photo; it's even
better to draw inspiration from it. GeeBee's photos have inspired me to
shoot a few rolls of B&W; Richard's to see the beauty in the world
around us. So far, it's been worth the price of admission (pressing
Delete several times a day) to me.
I hope you can find a reason to stick around.
Steve
