My wife has the Stylus 800. The charger light doesn't blink: it's steady red,
then steady green when done, just like the E-1 charger. The manual says the
battery's good for about 300 shots. YMMV with a different model. Her first
serious use was on a visit to her brother and sister-in-law and their brood in
St. Louis two weeks ago. She took over 100 shots, and the battery status
indicator never budged from "full."
