I think the many instances in which you've shared your
experiences with Can*n gear has had the tendency to keep
us more honest than we would otherwise have been about the
E series. The E's have limitations depending on how one
wishes to shoot.
I would have jumped on a D70 had it provided metering
capabilities with old AIS lenses. That was such a shame.
