Almost forgot. My TOPE 20 shot was taken with the 300/4.5 and 2xA. The 
nature of the shot is such that I'm afraid it doesn't tell you much 
about the lens qualities you may be concerned about.

It's a much larger and more unwieldy lens than the mirrors, but has 
normal highlights and one may adjust the aperture for DOF.
