Normally you don't use flash when shooting bands. Use fast film (like
Fuji 800 NPZ) and fast lenses (F2, F2.8) to catch the atmosphere of the
light show. Use only flash when the lighting on stage is terrible (too
low light levels, perhaps only lit by a red spot). I'd go for the 80/2
and 35-70/3.6 as the standard lenses.
If you must use flash and you can get close enough the F280 in Super FP
mode would be the best choice - it will leave more of the available
light intact.
