I don't have that lens to try, but my 21/3.5 is OK. It's just there isn't
a lot of point in using it, particularly without having a 1-13 type screen
and when the 14-54 is so good and light.
Zuiko and other lens performance on the E-1 is a bit mysterious. It's sort
of a matter of finding the stops you like with it. I'm been trying to
decide whether to take the Zuiko 85-250 or Tamron 80-200 on my imminent
fambly vacation (which will be E-1 only) and initial tests suggest that the
85-250 is excellent wide open and then again stopped down to f11. The
Tamron is great wide open and down to 5.6, but I don't like the light
falloff as you stop down further. I'm leaning towards taking the 85-250, a
lens that has languished on the shelf since I got the Tamron.
So with the E-1 it is not just focal length. The stop figures into it. YMMV.
