I did this a few months ago and picked up an MSI RS480M2-IL
motherboard, put it in a In-Win Z720T case, and put an Ahtlon 3000 on
the board. I'm running XP on it; the chipset has iffy Linux support,
so not a good one for those purposes. But, I've been really happy so
far. I went with this board after reading several comments from
people who have built systems around this board and who found it to be
rock solid. Anandtech chose this board/case combination for their
budget box in the April 2005 system guide.
I've had no problems with this system since putting it together.
Money well spent.
