I've been out of the technical side of the game too long to make specific
recommendations about hardware anymore, but I'm about to retool and won't
even consider a 32-bit processor. With a 64-bit OS in the offing and
attractive prices on Athlon 64 systems, it makes sense. Why buy into
something that will soon be another bit of computer history?
The eMachines T-6212 is a good example of an Athlon 64 based system. I don't
know if it could be built for the price it's being sold.
my two cents worth . . ./ScottGee1
