What a horrible job. The hue and patina are completely off, and they didn't
even bother to fill in the engravings! Good luck getting anywhere near the
asking price. It reminds me of some of those "gold" Russian cameras (just
highly polished brass :-)

And the good news is that at least he doesn't try to convince you it is some
rare and special model. He just says it is used and gold. Both are true.
It might be helpful if he explained how it ended up gold and why he thinks it
should command such a high price. We don't even know if the light seals are
good or if it has been converted to take modern batteries. Hmmm, I think I
might hold out for an e-whatever when they come out. [8^) Bill Barber
