Oh, 8-)
It's the lighthouse on Punta Brava, known also as Punta Carretas, here in
Montevideo. From its top, all the west coast of Montevideo can be seen, as
the 'punta' enters quite a bit into the sea/river. On the opposite side, the
Cerro de Montevideo is next to the sinking sun, and the very first city
lights are being lit.
Shot from the inside of the ~3 meter diameter small room where the rotating
lens of the the lighthouse lamp is, just at dusk when it is turned on.
Tripod mounted OM-2 (after accidentally sunked some months before), Zuiko
21/3.5, at f8 I think, hyperfocal, about 3 sec. exposure. Almost sure I
didn't make any exposure compensation. Shot on Velvia 50 and scanned with a
Coolscan4000ED. The Velvia looks GREAT, so I tried to match it on my monitor
(gamma 1.8, no white point correction) with a little PS.
You can have an idea about where is it located clicking:

Glad you liked it.
