Graham,
I'm wondering if there's any yellow dye left! Beautiful fields . . . and I
like how you composed the pano . . . the scene flows across the entire
photograph extremely well.

I haven't done "stitched panos" in a number of years. Found focal length
used is very much a personal preference. I didn't use a single focal
length when experimenting with it, although never went longer than 50mm
(usually 35mm or shorter). I picked the focal length that (IMO) worked
best for the perspective I was trying to portray with the subject material.
Don't forget . . . the same perspective with a larger vertical field of
view can be had by turning the camera on its side and shooting more frames
to capture the desired horizontal field of view. This gives some options
in composing it.
