Excellent Dan. The frame on the road bike I sold was made by Lugi Montagner
(If my memory is correct on the first name). I don't think he makes bike
frames any more. Steel frame, star shaped tubing, fully lugged and road
smooth a silk.

Whereas the bike I ride every day is an anonymous old road frame that I've
turned into a fixed-gear. I've got a mountain bike, but that gets used on
the mountains; I picked up a lovely old steel-framed Marinoni last year just
before winter, so it's yet to see much use, but I'm looking forwards to the
warm days of summer for that one -- there's a definite something about
