Oh, yeah. My Denon DVD-2200 can, as its predecessor allegedly could, the $2000
Philips SACD1000, for the 10 months or so the piece of s**t lasted before it
slowly quit playing anything at all. The warranty was worthless. I threw it
in the back yard and shot it just for grins a couple of times with a .44
magnum, just like the late HST would've done, then sent if off to Mt.
Trashmore. I don't have any SACD discs anyway, except the two that came with
the Philips, and they were not at all impressive. Real music still comes on
viny.
