Same here with XA and XA2. I haven't had any camera chew up film since a
Zenit maybe thirty years ago - and that did a good job of it thanks to its
milled stainless steel sprockets.

I've used an XA and XA-2 quite a bit and never had any problem with film
transport, always winds quite freely.
