My guess is that the next E-single digit will be the E-3, with the E-2
skipped. E-3 is registered as a trademark or some such, while E-2
isn't. Someone over on DP Review speculated that E-2 may have been
"owned" by someone else. Hence, the E-3 may be the pro-level 8MP
camera, and the E-300 the consumer version. But I guess we'll find out
soon enough.
