Oops, sorry for the blank reply. Flying mouse out of control!
I downloaded those fine. for anyone else who downloads them, file
extensions can get weird, at least on my machine. With Netscape, it
tries to add a .tiff extension,
IMG_4351.CR2.tiff, while IE proposes IMG_4351.tiff. Neither is correct. Perhaps
it is because I don't have an app that tells XP what a 'CR2' file extension is?
Anyway, after applying the latest CameraRaw update to PS, they convert fine.
Exposure of -1 on the conversion centers the histogram. Certainly nice and
wide. At 50% on my screen, they look quite good. At 100%, some areas look a bit
'smeary'. It's going to take me a bit to digest, but it's worthwhile. Thanks
for the opportunity.
My e-mail can take large attachments if no one else is interested.
Thanks,
Moose
