That is interesting. I had not considered that aspect. They may be
right. I don't think the OMs ever got the respect they deserved and it
may have been the size. It is no accident that the flagship EOS 1Ds Mk
II in the most popular professional system weighs about 5 pounds with a
modest lens. I can imagine that if the size of the Canon cameras
reduced their size and weight by half they would lose much of their
cachet.
