I suspect the C-8080 will fade off into its own glory trail. Perhaps there
is $$$ to be made in making a P&S that rivals the D-SLRs, but the company
wants folks to be buying lenses, I suspect. I would like a DSLR that picks
up some of the advantages of a really fine EVF (live histogram, etc.). I'm
getting spoiled by not really having to make metering decisions.
Winsor, I am puzzled by your statement about a "4/3 sensor version of the
C-8080" as all my materials say that the C-8080 is a 4/3 camera. Is the
sensor something other than 4/3 but turning out 4/3 images?
