I have a 30 - 35 year old Sawyers which still works like it did when my
father used it new. I always preferred its 100 circular trays. I believe the
Kodak machine's have a 120 circular tray that sits flat on top of the
projector. The Sawyer/Vivitar style are aligned vertically.

Check out this page for the Carousel (and others) projectors.

The models that take the newer 300W halogen bulbs are the ones to look for,
in my opinion. Most of the projectors are going very reasonable these days
on the auction site. I have the 760H and Medalist versions. The Medalist is
a better projector to get, if for no other reason than it is newer. It is
supposedly a bit noisier like the pro series as it has the faster fan, but
is not objectionably so, and I can't see much difference in noise really.
Either a Schneider or Navitar is a good lens to add to the Kodak one that
usually comes with the projector, but is not always the best quality. Look
for one in the length that best suits the distance you will need to project.
