I am not sure if you mean an extension cord, Dean - they certainly did make
them and I can't believe that the distribution chain has been cleaned out.
But if it has, you'll have to try B&H:

ku=82842&is=REG otherwise known as http://tinyurl.com/4x4yo
For the 'trigger', I can suggest a 1-inch round nail if you have nothing
better to hand (it's more compact than an OM-1, with much less vibration, so
no need for mirror pre-fire)!

Subject: [OM] X sync flash trigger
I have begun acquiring cords and flashes for my small studio system. I want
to trigger T32s in manual mode remotely so I can take incident readings. My
thought was to us the BG2's x sync cable to trigger the flash. I would just
turn the one or twinned T32s that I was to read. Does anyone make a cheap,
female remote cord that I could plug into the BG2's x sync? I searched the
net and didn't find anything, but I am not sure what to call it. I could us
an empty OM body, but that would be more cumbersome. Does someone make x
sync cord extensions?
Happy Holidays!
Dean
