Thanks James. Even if I didn't remember your middle initial I remembered your quick comments on telephotos you've made over the last couple years. Congratulations on your sale of your big Zuiko. You got a good price. One sold a week or so later for about $700 less. Photodo gives the 300mm f2.8 Tamron slightly better ratings than the 400mm f4 Tamron. You'll probably enjoy the lighter weight of the Tamron. I don't think you'll have any issues with its quality. I have some doubts about using stacked TCs on it though... ;^) Did you get a green Tamron or a charcoal colored one? -jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: "James N.
