The buzz now is the Mamiya ZD, a 22MP medium format digital. It is 
rumored that it will be very aggressively priced when it hits the 
stores after the first of the year and that it is the end of film 
camera development at Mamiya. Priced low enough to hurt sales of the 
Canon 1Ds Mk II. Takes current Mamiya 645 lenses. Maybe another 
compaction of price for other high end cameras? More here:
