These are quite interesting because the f6.3 version is
more pleasing to my eye for some reason. I think it's
because the main subject is sharper and the fact that
though the background is less of a smeary blur than the
f4.5 version, it certainly doesn't make it less attractive
or more distracting in this case. It's a very nice
setting, Wayne, and I'm kind of amazed at how much the
difference affects me.
But I suppose one would have to say that the f4.5 shot
has "better bokeh" in the background because there is more
blur (bokeh literally means "blur", right?). But I sure
like the f6.3 version a lot better.
