Please help me dear zuikoholics,
For the last year I have photographed using mainly Fuji Sensia 100. I scan the
slides with Epson 2450. I ran out of slide film and I should buy some more. It
just happend that I found very cheap Provia 400F. It is a 30 meter long roll
(yes, I have the equipment to cut it and put into cartridges) for 66 euros. The
film is dated "April 2004" but it has been kept in cold so the film should be
just fine.
And now to my question: What is the sharpness, contrast, grain and colours of
Provia 400F compared to Sensia 100? Most of all I am afraid of the grain of
Provia 400. Is it a thing to worry about?
I photograph mainly macroshots so 400 film sounds perfect, but since I need to
do some 20x30cm (8x12 inch) prints I would not like to lose the sharpness of
100 film. What do you say?
