Oh, my apologies, please forgive me, and apologies to all the other
tots and youngins on the list. Please be advised, though, if you listen
here too much, you might just become one (excepting if you listen to
the *few* wise elders).
I know I missed out putting all my $.02 in on that audio debate so I
thought I would show everyone the radio on which I first heard Jimi
Hendrix and had my awakening. It was a Heathkit all tube shortwave
radio my older brother built. No digital back then. Oh that distortion,
and the cracks and pops of AM radio, those were the days... none of
that mp3 crap then, but the thing was really tough to go jogging with,
you had to carry a generator with you, but you got your workout. Ahh,
they just don't makem like they usetah.

(Photo taken by my dad and processed himself. Hence, lots of color
correction was required. Back then, film processing was relatively
expensive, so my dad tried to save a few bucks and developed the
ektachrome himself.)
