Evan,
I've had good service from KEH on some non-Olympus stuff, like dusting and
curing zoom creep on a Tamron 80-200/2.8, and cleaning and lubricating a couple
of old LF camera shutters that I couldn't fix myself.
There is in Duluth an outfit called Camera Repair Japan that advertises in
Shutterbug and claims to provide "authorized service" -- whatever that means --
for Olympus, as well as Canon, Hasselblad, and others. They have a website:
www.camerarepairjapan.com. In the preceding two sentences, I have told you
everything I know about them.
Coincidentally, immediately adjacent to their Shutterbug ad is one for Camtech,
our own John H., at www.zuiko.com. Either John or Clint, whose web address
escapes me at the moment, would probably be my first choice. If I felt I
really had to have local service, I'd go to KEH.
