David, if you want to have another go at it, ask the lab not to cut the
slides or cut it to strips of 6 and you can you bulk scan them. I think
they are much flatter that way. I have a roll film attachment and I process
my own slides, and I don't have too much of a problem. Of course, almost
all my shots are people so I usually don't even notice if the corner or
edges are tack sharp or not :-)
